Planting instructions
- Prepare Soil and Planting Pot 🌱
- Soil: Use well-draining, airy soil mixed with sand, coconut coir, rice husk ash, or perlite. The ideal pH range is 6.0 - 7.5.
- Pot Selection: Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
- Sow the Seeds Properly 🌿
- Soak seeds in warm water (30–35°C) for about 6–8 hours to stimulate germination.
- Sow seeds horizontally on the soil surface, pressing down lightly but not too deep.
- Keep a distance of 2–3cm between seeds so that the seedlings have room to grow.
- Spray lightly to keep moist, avoid over-watering which can cause waterlogging and seed rot.
- Care for the Seedlings ☀️
- Light: Keep the pot in a bright area with indirect sunlight. Once the seedlings develop true leaves, gradually expose them to direct sunlight.
- Watering: Water only when the soil surface is dry, about 2-3 times per week. Adenium is drought-tolerant but sensitive to overwatering.
- Fertilization: After 3-4 weeks, apply diluted organic fertilizer or NPK fertilizer to support growth.
- Nurture Until Blooming
- As the plant grows, repot it to provide more space for root expansion.
- Prune branches to shape the plant into bonsai or to encourage even growth.
- After 5-8 months, the plant will begin blooming. Apply potassium-rich fertilizer to promote abundant flowering.
