Planting instructions
- Prepare Soil and Planting Pot 🌱
- Soil: Use well-draining, airy soil mixed with sand, coconut coir, rice husk ash, or perlite. The ideal pH range is 6.0 - 7.5.
- Pot Selection: Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
- Sow the Seeds Properly 🌿
- Soak the seeds in warm water (30-35°C) for about 4-6 hours to stimulate germination.
- Place the seeds horizontally on the soil surface, pressing them gently into the soil without burying them too deep.
- Maintain a spacing of 2-3 cm between seeds to allow room for growth.
- Lightly mist the soil to keep it moist, avoiding excessive watering that may cause rot.
- Care for the Seedlings ☀️
- Light: Keep the pot in a bright area with indirect sunlight. Once the seedlings develop true leaves, gradually expose them to direct sunlight.
- Watering: Water only when the soil surface is dry, about 2-3 times per week. Adenium is drought-tolerant but sensitive to overwatering.
- Fertilization: After 3-4 weeks, apply diluted organic fertilizer or NPK fertilizer to support growth.
- Nurture Until Blooming
- As the plant grows, repot it to provide more space for root expansion.
- Prune branches to shape the plant into bonsai or to encourage even growth.
- After 5-8 months, the plant will begin blooming. Apply potassium-rich fertilizer to promote abundant flowering.
